"Love the life you live."
For as long as she can remember she's been moved by the colors and textures around her. As she walked the path to becoming the woman she is today, She would always find herself straying away from her rather structured upbringing, to look up and find herself with a brush in hand. Art has always been her means of truly connecting with the wonders around her. To her, art is a way of freeing her thoughts while simultaneously making her feel grounded in my environment.
When she graduated college, her soul continued to wonder taking her body with it. Suddenly she found my two feet firmly planted in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Here she fell in love with the world all over again. The large structures and seas of faces that had previously surrounded me, were replaced by the crystalline rivers and grand mountains. In Jackson surrounded by snow she found herself incapable of putting my brush down, and it couldn’t have felt more right. Because for her, the steps that she takes in life aren’t as significant as the strokes, dips, and splatters that follow.
